Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Proverbs 4:23
Being a mom may seem easy from the side, but once you become a mom, you quickly learn that motherhood is one of the hardest jobs out there. Yet, it is one of the most satisfying careers a woman could have.
To support and encourage each other, I have decided to start a small mommy group. With the help of a book we chose together A Mom After God’s Own Heart by Elisabeth George, we want to learn how to be better moms (and wives as well).
These lessons I want to share with you my dear sister in Christ, so join us every Wednesday for snippets of wisdom for moms.
*Prioritize your day by ensuring you took care of your heart with daily Bible & prayer time.
*Take care of your mood. When you’re in good spirits, your children (and husband) will reap the rewards.
*Have one-on-one time with each child so that each child knows he/she is special to you. (Daily, weekly, monthly, but do it.)
*Our tongue is litmus paper to our heart. Be careful with your words.
Until next Wednesday! God bless you!
