Confessions of a Mom

I can do all things through Christ[a] who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

I wake up every morning thinking that today I will be more patient with my kids, more loving to my husband, more spiritual, more, more, more.

But as the day goes on and exhaustion falls upon me, I start being less patient, less loving, and definitely less spiritual.

The daily struggle.

I know I can’t be alone with this struggle.

And at the end of the day I’m always asking God for forgiveness for not being as good as I wanted to be.

I confess. It’s not easy some days. But the BEST part is God forgives and He gives us another day to try. He gives us strength when we ask.

And even though we fail some days at keeping our promises, God still loves us. Nothing in this world is better than knowing that.

Thank you Jesus for loving me even when I don’t deserve it. Thank you for grace.

God bless you moms and wives out there! Of course, dads and husbands as well because they have their struggles too.
