For Her

Busy Bee

She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Proverbs 31:27

Reading about the wife of the Bible in Proverbs 31, it truly is amazing all the things a wife and mother does around the home! It really is hard to appreciate until you personally start doing all those million things needed to be done.

Thousands of years ago they didn’t have the our conveniences of washing machines, dryers, electric stoves, so on and so forth. Lots needed to be done (just as today even with all our fast ways). But apparently there still seemed to be a chance for women to be idle.

The 25th verse touched my heart and made me think about how I spend my time. Are there idle times where I could be, should be doing something useful?

Him+Her Weekly Goal
Find “idle times” in your schedule and possibly think of what could be done productive.
